Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SDET with strong frontend development skills in ReactJS and Next.js to design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks while contributing to frontend application development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in UI automation, API testing, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies, with a strong focus on application quality, performance, and reliability.
The candidate should be comfortable working closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality web applications.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications using Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
Develop and enhance frontend components and features using ReactJS, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Create reusable, maintainable, and scalable automation scripts for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Perform API testing and integration testing to validate backend and frontend interactions.
Implement automated tests for React components, UI workflows, and Next.js applications.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with developers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.
Validate application responsiveness, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and performance.
Participate in code reviews and recommend improvements to frontend code quality and test coverage.
Identify opportunities to improve test automation efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong experience as an SDET, Software Development Engineer in Test, or a similar engineering role.
Hands-on experience with ReactJS and Next.js for frontend development.
Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Strong experience with Playwright or Cypress for UI and end-to-end test automation.
Experience in unit and component testing using Jest, React Testing Library, or similar frameworks.
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern web development practices.
Experience with REST APIs, API automation, and integration testing.
Good understanding of Next.js concepts, including routing, server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and client/server components.
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of debugging, root-cause analysis, and defect management.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development life cycles.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with accessibility testing and web performance optimization.
Familiarity with Docker and cloud-based testing environments.
Experience with visual regression testing and cross-browser testing tools.
Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and web application security testing.
Experience working with GraphQL APIs and microservices architectures.
